Art Card - 6"x4” - Black-eyed hermit crab
———————————
Spanning the duration of my marine biology career has been an endless struggle to finally choose a sea creature to call my number one favourite. After many years, I have narrowed the search down to two finalists; the adorable Black-eyed hermit, and the burly Puget Sound king crab. This Black-eyed Hermit was photographed just off the tip of Clover Point Park in Victoria BC., scampering amongst the towering sea pens that offer shelter from predators. These hermits are the largest on our coastline, suitably occupying the largest shells they can find: Moon snail shells.

This card is 6”x4” in size.
Art cards come sealed in a cellophane sleeve to protect from smudges and fingerprints. Each card comes with an appropriately sized envelope for shipping or hand delivery. Unique ornamentation inspired by the featured species is present on the inside of each card.
In addition to the common and latin names of the animals featured, the time, location, and description of the photograph are featured on the back of the card.
